Just a suggestion - but in the next home match against Lincoln (28th December 2014) - the fans offer a 1 minute applause for Peter in the 79th minute

Good suggestion. Ideally after a well-organised (and I'm sure well supported) tribute before the game.

Good idea unfortunately feel the minutes silence will be spoilt by the 20 travelling fans

It won't, everybody respects the departed whichever club you support.

I'm sure that the club and fans will pay an appropriate and handsome tribute to a great figure in the club's history. Perhaps the club could help by putting up a photo of the late Chairman on the scoreboard in the 79th minute? I would go for the one of him in front of the massed Haddocks at Plough Lane, if someone's able to dig it out.
