Seems strange that the Conference have agreed to postpone Wrexham v Southport on 1st Jan to enable them to prepare for the FA Cup ties the following weekend.

I think in our experience the Conference have been very inflexible.

can only bring them a fixture backlog as the season progresses and cant be seen as an advantage league wise so why not...

Absurd decision!

If teams don't want to face a potential fixture pile-up, don't enter the competition in the first place.

I bet they wouldn't have given any consideration to this whatsoever last season when we had to cram in games over Christmas and New Year and then had to face Huddersfield immediately afterwards
