Wouldn't be too humiliating if we were to bow out in Round 1. Away to another Conference Premier team afterall.

Why oh wy isn't the FA trophy regionalised. And not just North or South, really tightly. How many Town fans would go and see this?

good draw IMO.
tough game for the fringe players, not too far away.
if we win, then good, if we lose, nevermind

A good draw for us for the rest of the season. Fine by me if we lose. We must concentrate on the bigger prize without any distractions. Yes I know York and Cambridge have won the FAT and got promoted. I do not see us doing that somehow. Too many risks.

Not many further away in the northern section.

Brilliant draw, play the kids and make a speech about good experience in the Press Conference afterwards. Hopefully this will be our last ever FAT game :)

Fringe players to be given game we go through brilliant or we dont and they have some game time against same league opposition.
Posted by: forza ivano, December 1, 2014, 3:03pm; Reply: 17
given the timings i think he'll play his strongest team to give them some game time before fgr

Stick Hamish Watson on for 90 minutes 4-4-2 attack attack attack, win or lose lets see what he can do, along with others who don't start regular.

Train tickets booked from London. Dirt cheap - £19.50 return - and takes just over an hour to get there from Euston.

He did not say that,
He said we are in it to win it,
I think, he thinks we can do both.
I am not sure we can.
BUT
You never know.

I thought you wanted us out this cup, if so a win a is letting you down.
I can see a melt down on here if we loose even though most on here want us out the cup anyway

We can win this one as the next round is a free Saturday,
After that I am not bothered,
BUT
Hurst says we are in it to win it.

BTW I never want us to lose,
I want us to get promoted,
I just think this is a distraction to what we want to achieve this season,
Lets get back in the league 1st then we can take the tinpot cup ( whatever its called ) serious.

All of you who think that we should field a side full of fringe players and youngsters haven't really thought about it. Those players that don't play against Nuneaton will go into an important game against FGR not having played for three weeks. Is that wise? Think again. Ask the players what they would rather do not play for three weeks or play against Nuneaton. I am 100% certain what their answer would be.

Well seeing Hurst says we are in it to win it,
He will play a strong team,
I hope he gives Watson and the Walker ( brothers ) ;D a chance to show how good they are,
Plus one or two other fringe players who need a game.
So I would go with something like this,
Macca
Walker Doig Pearson Thomas
Arnold Clay Brown Walker
Neilson
Watson
