Neilson to come on, Mackreth hasn't been great according to radio. Hurst I'm pretty sure won't change it this early though. Town wasteful in front of goal and a long range punt from the opposition rings all too familiar thus far.

Exactly this. He offers nothing. Pittman is a creative player and has some vision. If you're trying to unlock a packed defence, Pittman is by far the better of the two. Bewildering stuff from Hurst. Neilson's been shite since he's come on as well.

Neilson sounds just as bad, hard to remember those early days of the season when Neilson was a different class.

Seems Neilson is in as different a lot these days - just not the class we want him to be in!

Absolute shite, can't even win away at the worst team in the league after creating countless chances. That performance sums up precisely why we won't win the league.

Barnet on the other hand come from behind to score three goals against the team in 3rd place. We've no chance of catching them.

It seems to me Hurst just gets it wrong, Pittman and Shop working really well together so changes it to Hannah + Shop (which has not done much previously) for it would seem no reason

The problem was the number of chances missed not getting that hair standing striker will cost us automatic promotion.  We should have been out of site before they scored a worldy.  No good blaming every tom male private un harry.

So disappointing after a bright and dominant start, to be fair to Hurst he selected the right starting line up, created plenty and the front two linked up well by the sound of it but just wasted the chances, Hurst cant really be blamed for that can he? (unless of course we track back to the lack of signing a goal scoring striker)
In game management again though leaves a lot to be desired, although hindsight is a marvellous thing, Neilson and Hannah completely ineffective lost us all momentum.

Barnet dropping points at Telford is not an acceptable excuse. There's a reason why Telford are languishing at the bottom of the league on 13 points - if we have aspirations of winning the league we have to win games like this. Barnet have more than made up for their blip in the same fixture by ensuring it was nothing more than a blip. Not quite the right question as my answer would be bias towards town  ;) but yes i would and if i was a top scorer clubs would come calling and gaining promotion would be a bonus especially if you become a fans favourite.  However thats just my view and only those that have turned us down can answer your question properly.

It's not an excuse and it's clearly a disappointing result. It does undermine the idea that it highlights the difference between us and Barnet. Nobody has any consistency at the moment including Barnet. The only reason they're clear is they were consistent for the first couple of months of the season. We can still catch them but we need to up our level and maintain it fast. It'll be a missed opportunity if we don't go up this season as there's so little between us and the teams around us.

We could really of done with a win today, well at leat we didn't lose, Barnet now 7 points ahead so even if we beat them twice we would still be behind them.

Really need to learn quickly to be able put these type of games to bed early doors.

Whatever went on with Barnet at Telford the fact is w should have been home and dry after 15 minutes, but we miss chance after chance and then us fans KNOW, and the team KNOW that they will get one, possibly a fluke, possibly a wonder goal, but it will come and it will be against the run of play.
And we don't have the nous, the guts, the intelligence nor the belief that we can go on to run out as winners at the end.
It's not unique to Hurst tbf, it's been like this for years now.

Paul Hurst's post match interview after the Woking match was the worst I have heard since Mike Newell completely lost the plot after were beaten by Rochdale.
