Fishy Forum  /  Archive  /

I have only been on here a short while but i have noticed that the Forum seems a tad biased against the supporters who have differing opinions on the way the club is run. The red crosses seem to go along way to discredit the poster of any sense or validity . If a posters reputation looks bad does that mean they don't know what they are talking about ?

You can turn the function off in the member centre and get on with your life. That would be my advice.

How dare you have an opinion on people having different options!

I see you got a red cross for asking a question,

Well I just gave you a tick to even it up,

Sad to say there are a few on here who just love to mark down others posters,

Just keep having your say and ignore them.

There are always those that have a different opinion to others in all aspects of life not just footy.

I am sure for example some pro Hurst fans will red cross the anti Hurst fans and vice versa.

Nothing to worry about and just a fact of life.

Reputation, reputation, reputation! Oh, I have lost my reputation! I have lost the immortal part of myself, and what remains is bestial.

No no no  i think you are missing the point . There is still a feeling around this site and the Club that smacks of .....If you don't like it , dont come  ............. I know Mr Scott said it but it is a feeling i get . It is almost like the 2600  feel like they Own the club and any of the other " part time fans" shouldnt have a say .  Thing is if the crowds stay at or around 2600 then there wont be a club for long .

Well, I reckon over the last 46 years I've paid for my particular bit of concrete and plastic. This whole "debate" is getting ridiculously out of proportion. I have always accepted the right of people to vote with their feet and might be a tad worried if anyone could conclusively prove that the lower attendance on Tuesday was a direct result of people deciding they'd had enough. There are 20 reasons on the other thread that confound that theory. Perhaps we should be having the debate at this level if the attendances continue on a supposed downward spiral.

You asked specifically about the red crosses and that was what I was answering.

Personally I would love a full house every week but if there are those that pick and choose their games then fine I do not have a problem with them, I'm just thankful they turn up when they do but I would think it very sad if someone didn't go to a match because of any comments on here, I think you are reading too much in to what is posted.

Have a look at other clubs forums, ours is no different.

That sound like a good idea , i wont feel like a naughty school boy then .  Democracy should encourage people to ask questions and not condemn them when they do

Or name and shame,

Let's have a figure next to each poster saying how many ticks and crosses they have GIVEN OUT. :)
