No great loss. Started well but been poor last couple of games.

Not really disappointed to be honest. Much rather have Clay in there.

Only signed as cover for Brown so now he is back ...Cheerio....the nature of loans. Gives Hurst one less tinker option too so win win.

Good player, but at conference level he should be able to maintain a better standard across half a dozen games or so; especially if he wants to make it at a level above. Started well, but evidently not maintained that.

'New Alan Pouton' just proves how 'over the top' people are on basis of one performance
Pell has been disappointing overall and I'm not sorry he's gone back
Clay will do for me as cover for Dizza and Brown

Can't remember the lad winning a fifty-fifty tackle.

Did some joker really mention Pell and Pouton in
the same breath ?

Pouton could tackle and play, Pell bottles out of challenges and miss places passes. Clay, Brown, Diz, Parslow and Paddy plenty of midfielders, all different and give us different options. Despite his height, he didn't use his obvious strength and power, tried to be something he wasn't.

Got to say for me he was worse than every other central midfielder we have at the club. Not bad just distinctively average.

He's obviously got some ability, but seemed a bit lightweight despite his size - Kiddy's first goal was pretty much his fault at the weekend as he got to the ball first yet lost it weakly when kicking it into touch would have been safe and who knows what might have happened if we hadn't conceded so early? It's funny how some beanpole players aren't any good in the air - suppose he never had to jump to win the headers when he was a kid, so never learned!

Not bothered about his departure now we've got enough players to cover across the middle.

Personally, I'd have brought Clay on much sooner last night as Brown was so much out of sorts. I think perhaps he's been rushed back from his injury and needs another week of training before coming back into the team?

Could play a bit but is a big fanny, so no real loss for me.

Noticed that AFC Wimbledon have stated he is not eligible for
today's game as he is still registered with us.
