I wouldn't have picked Pell or Parslow due to the last game plus there on loan and should really be 2nd choice to the contracted players unless on fire and on form.

Can't help but agree. Disley has played well recently and Clay has been pretty decent all season by most accounts.

So in the first 20 minutes we've had 2 shots, both from outside the box. Gripping stuff I imagine.

Im sure the main reason Parslow and Pell were brought in was to cover the injuries i hope Clay can force his way in again as i like him he works hard gets stuck in.  C'mon you mariners

Got to dig in Town. Kiddy are no mugs. Got some decent players in that squad. Capable of putting a couple in if we are not switched on. See this being a long and difficult afternoon for Town.

GOAL! Visitors break from a Town corner and Johnson races clear to slot beyond McKeown

It's a good question. Where is the consistency you need to get out of this pit of a league?

Town expected an easy ride

Kiddy pumped up by their manager

The shape is not working

Or the wrong players picked

Yeah probably because he likes to see a reaction but i think some of the can count themselves lucky to have retained there place as if i was manager the team would be different.  Anyway i dont want to take anything away from the unbeaten run but i think this maybe the end of it.

At the match and it's been really bad imo, the shape doesn't work and people just don't give Ljl an inch now and just kills off his threat only use is to try and head it on for others. Should play 4-3-1-2 imo try and reignite the Pittman Lewis partnership have Nielson or Arnold being creative behind them and going wide, let the fullbacks come forward more because aswas and magnay are good at it and not able to do it enough at the minute, and have Scott brown or parslow fill in for them when they do, at the minute it definately looks more like a 4-51 than a 4-3-3
Posted by: springstomind, November 22, 2014, 3:58pm; Reply: 42
Possibly the most logical, sensible thing I've ever heard on BBc Radio Humberside.. "Loose Parslow.. That holding role is to help ensure you do not concede, but it's happened, so loose him, he's currently costing us an attacking player which we now need"

No changes. Quelle surprise.
Posted by: immariner, November 22, 2014, 4:04pm; Reply: 46
People seem to have said time and again that Arnold and Neilson just aren't getting close enough to Lenny. Usually means we're decent defensively because we essentially have 5 across the middle but at home it's not going to see us score enough goals if the two 'wide men' aren't advanced enough.

I'm a bit frustrated that Hurst hasn't made a change. Time will tell if his rollicking has had the desired effect.

My farts quite often have a bit of intent but maybe that's just me. Frustrating as hell but other results mean we're only a point worse off than before. Can only hope Paul Hurst learns from each poor performance.

I will say one thing how many times have played kiddy at home?  How many times have they scored against us when we have a corner 3-4 times?  They normally play counter attacking football away from home so why haven't got wise to it.  Just a shame we couldn't capatilise oh well must get 3 pts in our next game and i have no idea what team PH will put out.  A lesson learnt Paul you drop dizza when it was Parslow that cost us a goal....baffling really.

Parslow is not a holding midfielder and we don't need him to play there. I don't understand the selections in midfield, I really don't, and come next week, I'm going to understand it even less.
