That would be a hell of a way to upset the apple cart just before Xmas

I've always thought he's a bit shite when I've seen him, but he always manages a few goals I suppose.

You can't properly judge a player in one game, but he missed a complete sitter against us at Aggborough earlier this season and was generally ineffective.

Never been that impressed by him but having said that we shouldn't actually make judgements based on the odd game against us as Mackreth doesn't seem to be the player many on here said he would be when he signed.

The way paul has set the team up lately with one striker he would be behind pittman for sure in the pecking order...

Then we have hanhah who imo is not the striker paul likes up front the way the formation is at the min...

Cant imagine a striker coming in to upset the present ones unless hannah moves on which he may do as he doesnt quite fit in to the present style of play.

I don't think Hannah has got it, he's playing poorly and his finishing isn't great full stop. Playing a league too high, not strong enough to play in this league let alone up top by himself.

If we want an extra striker for the future maybe  Mr Bogle is still the man, but not needed at present time.

Going off on a slight tangent here...

Are the transfer and loan markets open ?
I rarely know where we are with it all.

Transfer window is closed until early Jan (4th?) and is then open for a month

The loan window is open until 27th Nov, it then closes until 4th Jan.

Transfer window opens on the 1st Jan I believe - we signed Miller the day we played Lincoln a few years ago on NYD.

I saw Bogle the other week playing against Boston. He scored and was by far the best player on the pitch. Some good touches, quick and strong.

There is a chap called Anil speaking at a mobile industry event I am attending next week.  Thanks to the Fishy I will not be able to help smirking throughout his address.

I doubt that,

It would mean we need two strikers,

We can not get one after 6 months of trying.

Good, we don`t need him here to upset things, if it was Bogle it might have been worth the risk
