Does anyone feel that this time we might actually go up because our form continues after Boxing Day? I have my doubts but if we continue playing like we are in the league and get knocked out of the trophy early doors I see no reason why we can't go up.

It will be tight that's for sure, there are 4-5 teams who are capable of going up automatically and we are definately one of them, I just hope we can bounce straight back after a loss.

A lot will depend on injuries/new signings and luck, but if I was a betting man I would put money on Town being crowned champions 2014/2015 season. 8)

Dare I say (being "Mr squad rotation" myself, not sure I do !  ??)) that Hurst's comments post match regarding quality of subs on the bench etc that we might be in a more healthy position this time round ?

Of if you prefer, just have a better quality squad at our disposal ?

Keeping key players fit and avoiding stupid bookings will help to continue any winning run.

I fully expect to see team and formation changes against different types of opponents now we have Parslow and Pell here.

Playing friendlies like today against Corby and others will keep fringe players fit.

Good to see players getting some goals under their belts.

My only worry is , we still need that extra striker,

If we get him then YES we can,

If we don't  then Yes maybe.

I do think  a striker in January could be the difference  if LJL goals dry up....i know we did this last time but lets be honest he was not the right person and a shadow of the player at york.

If Iam honest I think we are in a better position than I thought we would be at the start of the season come mid November.This gives me hope and being knocked out of the FA Cup may prove to be a blessing even though we may have lost out on some prize money.On another note Iam not that bothered about the FA trophy as prize money from what I have read isn't that great. 50k for the winners last time I read about 2 years ago and hopefully we don't play our first team and use this completion as a way of blooding youngsters in and fringe players in need of match fitness and playing time
