I would just like to say how well it was performed at BP last night  it went off smoothly and was respectably observed, nice touch with the wreathes on the center spot and the piped procession through the stands.

Well done to the club and all the military cadets etc that took part

Yes it was very good    And the 1914 squad pictured on the big screen was very well done hats off to who ever organised that  who read the poem at half time anyone know ?

"At half-time, a touching video will be played on the Blundell Park big screen featuring images of the Grimsby Town team from 1914, who went to fight on the Western Front. Accompanying the piece will be a reading of Rudyard Kipling’s poignant poem ‘If’ from local Normandy veteran Walter Marshall."
