as the world's worst football tipster i am starting early this year in my attempt to fook up town's promotion rivals. hence a little yankee on Brizzell, gateshead, macclesfield and barnet has been placed in the expectation that me putting money on them near enough guarentees they will either draw or lose ;D

and if by any miracle they do win, well, i'm quids in  :P

Great effort but for this Saturday can I suggest a lucky 15 rather than a yankee? That way hopefully they'll all lose.

I backed the Gateshead and Town double last night. I was sort of happy with Lincoln equalised in injury time.

Unfortunately I have an outright league champions accumulator that doesn't list Town to win the Conference.
£5 on for £45,000 return (done at the start of the season).

Premier League winners: Manchester City
Championship winners: Derby County
League One winners: Bristol City
League Two winners: Luton Town
Conference Premier winners: Barnet

Should've Lucky 31'd that! Man City going to let you down I guess and hopefully Barnet as well.

Well it's worked again with only barnet winning! At least everyone else has dropped points as well and we actually gained against several other rivals.good to see brizzell kiddy n torquay fgr both ending in draws. As good as we could've hoped for

You should have had Altrincham double chance in it. You know what to do going forward!

I had Town/Wrexham which blew out but then had England, Spain -1, Switzerland and Ukraine which came in.

pleased to say i picked up a miserly 55p for my efforts!
so have been inspired to go for it again - 2 yankees this week

EASTLEIGH, BRIZZELL ROVERS, FGR & MACC

ALIFAX, WRECSAM, BARNET & KIDDY

Here's hoping for a similar return to the last 2 weeks

Apologies in advance but I have Town to win. Looking at objectively it should be a nailed on home win. Famous last words eh?!

£5 on Woking -1 at 13/2 - effectively buying Town a two goal win.

Putting money on Town's rivals to win and thereby cursing them.

Haven't you effectively bought Woking a 1 goal victory with that? That'd be no points and no returns from the bookies.

Whatever I put on usually leads to the complete opposite happening.

Ah okay. I assumed we were just working on the basis that the worst possible scenario all round would happen.

i've based my bets on awin-win situation - if my bets foul up (which as you've seen they invariably do) then i'm happy for Town , but if my bets come in i'm happy to go and collect off the bookies :)

That's what I thought. If i backed a Town opponent -1 I'd be confident with my track record that I'd virtually guarantee a one goal defeat leaving me with a losing bet and 0 points for Town!

Eastleigh and Woking double for me.

Bunged on Wrexham after Bristol Rovers only keeper went off injured. The useless Taff illegitimates then got a man sent off.
