Town got       £12,500 for the win today from the FA. They'll get another £18,000 if they make it through the next round (plus gate money of course).

Gate money is 50/50 though

I believe money from the gates is 45% to each team and 10% to the FA.

Pretty sure that it is only from the 3rd round where the FA take a cut.  50/50 until then (of the net gate receipts of course).

Plus TV rights (highlights etc), income from merchandise and food etc (if at home)

Money at this stage is welcome but really peanuts. the important thing is Town professionaly dispatched a useful potential banana skin side and have gone into the first round draw. The cup run last season was the biggest feel good factor I've had from town for some seasons. More of the same again please.

£45,000 down on last years money.

Ouch.

Was the FA Cup / Trophy prize money for last year included in the latest accounts released a week or so ago?

The club have budgeted to get to the 1st round so no 'damage' done in that regard. Yes, down on last year and any additional money is welcome but a cup run was never planned for in the finances

How about the Trophy Chris ?
Not that I necessarily "want us out" or anything  (not sure how I feel tbh)

In the FAT you get 5 grand for winning R1, 6 grand  for winning R2 then a grand more for each round until the semis which double to 16 grand and the final is 50 grand for winning or 25 grand for losing.

Thanks for the info Rob.
Just wondered if we had budgeted for it - I'd doubt if we'd budget for progressing through to the final ?

Can't remember how far we budget for but it certainly isn't the final, a round or two I'd guess
