A bit of an odd gesture in many respects when you consider that troops didn't wear camouflaged uniforms during the Great War!

There are a lot of people that wouldn't recognise the uniform worn during the Great War!

Milwall as a club and it's supporters have been subjected to bad press (and deservedly so in some cases) over the years so this is an unexpected but very well received gesture from them. Personally cannot see them selling many replicas to raise funds for charity, but a grand gesture to remember the tragic events of 100 years ago.  Puts into place some fans on here quibbling over free tickets for armed forces members doesn't it ? Well done to those connected with Milwall over this idea.

Defenders might not pick up forwards because of the camouflage, & leave them unmarked!
