some media outlets were saying Brown picked up his 5th booking of the season and Soccerbase also suggests this BUT the club have just confirmed to me via twitter that it was in fact his 4th.
Good news because if Clay is out in addition to Pearson we would have been severely depleted

had to consider playing youngsters we thought good enough to offer professional contracts.

Excellent news. And when he inevitably gets booked on Saturday he'll only miss the cup game. (go on Scott, be a pro!)
Not sure which young pros are centre midfielders though?

And presumably you might offer a contract to a youngster because whilst not good enough yet you think they might be in a year or two and they're on extremely low wages?
