Nigel Worthington, the York city manager, has resigned from immediate effect "due to team performances not being up to his high standards".

York are struggling near to the bottom of the League.  They took the lead at Newport, but lost 3-1 after having a man sent off.

(Not linking this to our position, other than the fear that York have of returning to non-league).

How quickly things change. 23 games unbeaten (if you ignore the playoffs) and Worthington is great has soon become 1 win in 17 and Worthington is shit.

Wonder if they fancy an up and coming Yorkshireman who knows how to get his teams to defend well and nick points away from home.

Will York want to recall Parslow so any new manager can have a look at all contracted players?

We could do with him at least until after Saturday when Pearson will have served his ban

It makes you wonder if Boyce would become available again if Mark Robbins doesn't rate him. I get the impression he enjoyed his time here and it would probably suit him for both his location and development.

Is it Thursday when they can recall him?

Yeah, we could do with him for Torquay.
