FFS

are we going to get  new threads for pro and anti hurst everytime we win or lose?

good 3 points today and the 'rose tinted' brigade will be out in force. Lose at Torquay and cue the Hurst out brigade.

2 points out of 9 against teams from the bottom third is cause for negativity. An away win against Wrexham is cause for celebration. Get over yourself, it's football. We still need a goalscorer at the club  because 3 goals in 5 games won't get us promotion.

To be honest all this bickering and falling out is doing my head in, I just want someone to say "it''s only papering over the cracks" and I swear I will scream.
Some on here are worse than school kids.

There are far too many low quality threads with minimal content being posted on here recently. If you've only got a couple of lines to continue, don't clog up the forum with a new thread - post your contribution in an existing one. The mods should clamp down on this.

If Cliche's, sarcasm and personal insults were banned on this forum there would only be half as many posters at best.

No, there's a clear distinction between shite one line threads, detailed posts (just back threads for example) and the brevity-less garbage 80s shovels out on a regular basis.

I said on another thread well done to Hurst,

Do you really think we want Town to lose?

Anyway well done to you for the correct score,

Also what I put on the other thread Hurst will get my 100% backing when we can start beating the smaller clubs instead of dropping points,

We seem to play better against the so called bigger clubs.

I'm the same I've had a moan but for me the team should always be backed despite who picks it.  Confidence is a big thing in football and we need to make sure we show the players when playing at home that we are behind the players.  If we don't I cant see us claiming many home wins.  They can sense the frustration from the fans this is neither the fans or the players fault nobody's perfect and players do have off days I guess it all depends on what you expect from the players.  For me as long as they show work rate and play for the shirt then I'm happy obviously 3 pts would be excellent but sometimes it might not work out like that.  All I want is some consistency and some feel good factor back to BP.

It's easier in a way to play the "big" clubs because he concentrates on stopping them playing and on keeping a clean sheet. That works as long as we don't go 2 down in a game. When we play the teams we are supposed to beat, their managers do the same to us and Hurst really struggles to find a way round it. He finds it even harder without a decent striker!

We know how managers in the past would have created a team though don't we Pete? We know what's realistic and what's pie in the sky. You have to forgive and ignore those who don't, especially if they were only born in '98! ;)

Fully agree, without that striker we will struggle to get into the play offs imo.
