Lincoln, Boston, Ferriby, Mickleover Sports, Gainsborough will do me. Hopefully a favourable tie to see us progress into the first round proper.

Just a home tie please .

Shildon, Mickleover Sports or Norton United away, just because I've got absolutely no idea where they are!

Away game is a must we play better away and this cup is potentially worth money if we get a first round tie like last year. FA trophy on other hand is a waste of time unless used to play non first 11 players

Yeah. I can see it now. We draw Mickleover Sports at Blundell park and spend an hour and a half trying to muster just enough skill to score just one goal, against a formidable collection of agricultural amateurs, but alas, we manage no shots on target (although there were 3 off target) and then spoil a completely acceptable, hard-earned 0-0 by going to sleep at a last minute corner and lose the game 1-0. We are out of the cup. After the game, Fenty says we are heading in the right direction and we need to get behind the manager who deserves more time. 658 disgruntled Town fans trudge home in the rain. Men and women who have given decades to supporting Town arrive back at their parked cars, get in, and weep openly whilst their teenage sons in the back seat Tweet Rob Scott.

No need to be so pessimistic - it might be a nice day.  ;)

Yeah but it won't b a surprise chaos coz ph will have told us beforehand about how dangerous micklover are, what good players they've got and that's why he's going to have to play 5-4-1 against them!

The nearest club to me and a winnable game.

King's Lynn can come to BP and get a draw for a replay if they want. That way I can see both games and it gives me something to do on a Tuesday night.

Must say I disagree. After the torrid start to the season, it may be a bit of happiness for us!!

Followed by two of their 40 fans who travelled joining the Fishy to say what a great day they'd had, we should be back in the league soon and wishing us the best for the season.

Boston away please.... will get the Town fans up for a good sing song about the Polish, the 6 fingered
interbred spotty faced teenagers who sleep with their sister/mother/aunty etc etc...

and we would probably take between 700- 800 ( 200 of whom will be looking to increase our
standings in the hooligan / banned fans league ) whilst PC Nobbler could have a field day

;)

Hi Big Chris
Norton is just north of Stoke on Trent and are managed by a chap I work with... Given their recent form and. The fact that they beat Runcorn 2-5 away I'm not sure I fancy them!!

Would love Norton away, cant get much more local than that for me

Lincoln away would be decent on a Saturday on the train.
North Ferriby, Gainsborough, Guiseley would be decent local away games as well.

I remember when we drew Chasetown away (might have been in the FA Trophy actually) - none of us knew where they were, and we lost 2-1.

I wouldn't want to draw AFC Fylde - only a few seasons ago I watched them play Garforth Town in a division I don't know the name of, and now they're top of the Conference North. I might be wrong but they've got some money behind them - just like their close neighbours Fleetwood Town.

Similarly, wouldn't want to come up against Chorley. Earlier this week I posted about their manager, Garry Flitcroft, who's doing an excellent job there. Another unfashionable club on the up.

Lincoln would be nice - home or away. That'd get a few extra fans through the gate. Boston too - as someone else has already said. Maybe even North Ferriby.

Closest for me would be Guiseley.

I'd quite like a trip to Tamworth, I don't know why but I quite like the place and days out there.

Or a trip away to Lincoln on a Sat, have been at work last 3/4 seasons when we've played them away. I would say a Sat visit to Halifax, but the chances of progressing when fincinally we need to? Alfreton away on a Sat would be good for me, as the league match is on a un-makeable Tues night for me. I know some of you would like away visits to anyone in Northrn Prem or lower to cross a new ground off, but I'd rather have any of those 7 teams at home.

You can forget the likes of Lincoln for me, are we not forgetting our recent match against them!!!!! I would prefer the lowest ranked team at home please, we just need to reach the first round proper so definitely need to avoid all other conference premier teams for now. Leek or spent more will do nicely ta.
