Alan Buckley as caretaker boss until the end of the season please.

We have the players but we don't have the manager with the understanding on how to get theses boys winning.

Give Alan Buckley just one week with this crop of players and he wound have them drilled in so much detail that we wound beat everyone in this league

FFS, BUCKLEY IS RETIRED! HE IS NOT A MANAGER! He doesn't know one player from another! Even if he wanted to (and he doesn't), he couldn't assemble you a team. If people must repeat this blind lunacy, can't they just post that on the existing thread entitled 'Alan Buckley'. Or better still, stop wasting space and time. (wallbash)

I'd be at Wrexham on Saturday if they brought Buckley in to settle the ship, people can say he's been out the game to long long and he's past it all they want but if they'd rather stick with hurst well then good look watching that excrement in front of 1500 crowds.

Jeez, open your eyes. Who's saying, no to Buckley and let's keep Hurst? Nobody.

Buckley is an old man and he's retired. End of.

I wouldn't wish John Fenty on Buckley again.

Buckley would have this group of players playing football.

He's only 61 , not old enough to retire yet . ?
Only for 6 months , to stabilise what we have  .
Fact of the matter we ain't going anywhere with Hurst in charge , this is my first derogatory comment regarding Hurst too .

Doesn't stabilise mean not going anywhere?

If having Doig as caretaker, Buckley (if he'd do it) alongside him whilst they find a replacement would be better than just Doig. Hurst should have had someone alongside him like Buckley, then he might have done a better job and learnt how to manage a team! Hey-ho, too late now, he's finished!

Last nights game was pretty much a re-run of Buckley 3. Good approach play but no end product.

Leave him to his retirement.

Don't think we had a decent striker did we ?
Remakes of films are like this , Die Hard 2 and 3 weren't as good as 4 .
So all we need is Bruce Willis as manager , sorted .

;D And we've been stable for five years. The last thing we need is anymore flipping stability!

I dont think Buckley would be assistant to anyone,, he is his own man. and no team can win anything with out a decent striker , and this is down to hurst`s failings.. he will have trouble getting anyone to come to a failing team, and will not want to play one game and then sit on the bench and watch other who cant shoot on target

We had what the Butler saw an easy touch of a club, we may have another one in our ranks again
