Only because of cheap timed train tickets and Wrexham has two Wetherspoons. Might stay in the pub though.

My annual Welsh weekend as usual.  Fortunately for me the footy is only 90 mins from what is normally a cracking weekend.

It's Wrexscums 150th Anniversary by the way.  There is a bleeding Welsh choir, and the world keepy uppy champion or something.  Our Sheep molesting friends are also hoping to double their average gate.

COME ON YOU MARINERS.

Does everyone realise that it's party day in Wrexham tomorrow, 150 years or something.  Apparently going to town with the party so the fans are expecting the players to go all out for a win!!!

to be fair ive been unfortunate enough to get to Wrexham a few times. the highlight was seeing Steve Evans Boston side get relegated on the last day which almost made up for not getting a ticket for Macca's last game at Shrewsbury the same day. Low point was    a 6 hour round trip for F*** all last season, bad times

Yeah, I posted a thread about it the other day. They're expecting at least double their average gate and have produced a special ticket and programme (£5) for the occasion. Apparently they are the 3rd oldest professional football club in the world.

I'm back in - ferry in the morning! Quick question is 'Wrexham General' Wrexham Central station?
