Even if you don't bet they provide an objective view of how the season is going. We were fourth favourites initiallly. Basically it's still wide open.

It's 8/1 in "old money", they are decimal odds.

I'd bite your hand off if you offered me 20/1!

There's 8 teams with a better chance than us according to those odds. Barnet are 4 times as likely, Torquay and Bristol Rovers are twice as likely. Not what I would call wide open.

But we were 4th favourites at the start of the season, that's just a fact!

Barnet are several points clear at the top yet it's still more likely that they'll fail to go up than to get promoted. I'd say that's pretty open.
