Just listened to Hursty on Mariners Player, basically he says that he's not bothered. Hurst was the brains in the partnership any way.

If PH was the brains then I'm defintley worried because we where awful early last season with that 433 system, and Nuneaton at home last season was awful and where awful this season against the so called lesser teams at home. Personally i think we need some attacking assistance on the coaching side of things the forwards don't look fit Ross Hannah is the new Andy Cook, LJL is just LJL Pittman is the new Hearn and Arnold is the new Ademeno.

Does every thread have to turn into open season on Hurst?

We could stick to Scott and his pearls of wisdom, like Jamie Vardy will never make it in the higher leagues.

Yes as he's a liability to our bid to return to the promised land

Whatever Hurst says he's publicly damned so poor bloke can't win
I wonder if Scott asked Hurst to back him over disciplinary issues and Hurst refused??
Something has obviously gone badly wrong
If Paul doesn't like it he shouldn't f*cking respond

I'd say Rob Scott should think about what he says because if Hurst isn't up to it and we're carrying along the same trajectory with him flying solo then it doesn't say a lot for what he was contributing.

That is a fantastic riposte.

If he wasn't bothered he wouldn't dignify the insults with an answer.

Not Hurst's biggest fan but he responded very courteously and very professionally there. I'm sure he's livid privately but thought he handled that very well.

Would've been very easy to have had a crass, silly dig back.

I'll see you at playtime  :) Christ on a bike it's depressing on here....anyone would think that we hadn't won a game yet.
As you asked:-
We could be doing better-wins should have been obtained from games v Nuneaton, Dover and Southport but against that we have wins at Gateshead, Kiddy and respectable draws at Brizzle and Halifax-all teams who will be there or thereabouts at the business end of the season.
You are probably better off seeing games away from home. It's a much better atmosphere and generally just more fun!
P.S. i reckon it's your round...

He can. Just not often enough.

Whatever you think about Paul Hurst, the one thing you have to acknowledge is that he's intelligent and level-headed. That doesn't necessarily make you a great manager, as a bit of lunacy can often help, but I'm glad to see that he rose above those tweets by Scott.

The last thing this club needs is a manager that gets drawn into talking about some silly tweets.
