Interesting piece in todays Telegraph about Toto playing against his old club, & in particular Richard Brodie.

He says that "he didn't have the best of friendships" with Brodie.

Sounds like he doesn't like him.

Should be interesting Tuesday night, odds on Toto &/or Brodie getting sent off?

There seems to be a theme with our old friend Mr. Brodie doesn't there?

Think  tomorrow will be quite feisty. Brodie will no doubt offer a fan out and there will be tussles in both boxes that I am sure of.

Would have been interesting if Boyce was still here as he took Big Macs place last season.

Is there anyone out there who actually gets on with Mr Brodie?

Mrs Brodie ?

Can't imagine there's a Mrs Brodie,What woman would want to marry an argumentative tw@t like him, We all know that women want to win every argument and with Brodie they might come off second best. (fight)

I think he is in line for some quality abuse!

My hope is that we don't get involved with him and play football as we will win that way.

Ooooh Richard Brodie, he used to be a male masturbator and he still is now.

And perhaps not just from our fans,Quote below is from Southports forum ----

As for Brodie, after letting the fans down by getting sent off against Kidderminster, swearing at someone at Chester and moaning a lack of applause on Saturday, it's his turn to give us something to cheer about. For a man who has scored around 4 in 30 for us he seems to forget it's the players who give the fans something to cheer about, something he has rarely done in his Port career.

The fact he once managed over 10 goals in a season truly astounds me. He looked dog playing for York, looked worse playing for us and seems to be getting worse all the time.

15 one year and 26 the next back in his glory days!

Which is just astonishing as he's never looked anything short of abysmal when I've seen him. Genuinely doesn't seem to have any particular strengths or talent for the game.

i dont think advertising the fact you have beef with an opponent the day before you play is a great policy.

Yeah he looked shite for York at BP just before Evans spunked £275k on him (which was only 3 months after his goaliest season had ended)

I'd be staggered if Brodie doesn't do something stupid - I just hope none of our players get involved but I do think Toto has the potential to take the bait

Last season Brodie came and sat in the Main Stand and withing 5 mins was being told by a steward to pipe down!!

The man is a sh*t stirrer who just goes looking for trouble

Keep calm, play our football and we'll be fine

We know he's gonna try and wind our players up. I hope the BP faithful play him at his own game, give him some flipping stick and watch him lose it and walk - 12th man in action! He's a male masturbator, let him know it  :)

This, entirely.

Let's totally humiliate him by f***ing trouncing them. That's a much better way to put him in his place, rather than to get drawn into his little cynical games. We must NOT get sucked in and have a man sent off!

I was thinking this - plenty has been made of the two potential aspects - LJL v Macdonald and Toto v Brodie, but we have the 2 better players out of that 4. We have the better centre back and the superior striker. Let's make it pay!

I know you weren't referring to my post but for the record whilst I reckon the fans should give him a lot of stick the players should definitely not get drawn in, leave that to the folk off the pitch.
