A guy I know is now a personal friend of Brodie, apparently Brodie puts the penalty miss at Wembley as the worse moment of his entire career.

I wonder if they found that bloody ball.

Been a bogey team for us in the past!

Hopefully we can put past results behind us and get that win.

Their best two players last year were Brown and Nsiala and they're ours now. I expect us to smash them out the way.

They may park the bus and try to rough us up a bit, but we have to play to out strengths, work hard and get at them. If we do we should get 3 points but it will not be an easy game.

Taken from the Southport Forum,

As for Brodie, having a go at the main stand for not clapping much at the end - we lost, we didn't score and we didn't look like scoring. Behave - the supporters will get behind you when we start performing.

No change there then.(crazy) (focus)

I can see them trying to wind up Toto and Brown and if Brodie is about anything could happen. Just hope we keep our discipline and let the football do the talking.

Brodie's best wind up days were when he was actually good at scoring goals. Now he's about as good a footballer as one of Mike Jeffrey's turds he's probably quite easy to ignore.

There's a story in the Telegraph from Toto, saying that he and Brodie didn't get on with each other at Southport.

He says, "I'm really looking forward to playing against Richard Brodie in particular – he and I don't have the best of friendships if I'm honest, so it'll be a battle and I can't wait.

Should be interesting.

I do not like the sound of that,

I fear a double sending off,

Even three if Brown gets involved,

You know Brodie will just wind them up,

Keep your heads lads and let Brodie get himself sent off or subbed.

Lets hope we can carry on from Saturdays win with another 3 points.

Southport have become a bit of a bogey side so i dont expect an easy game despite their league position.

will go for a narrow win and a bit of a huff and puff performance. nevertheless 3 points would be 3 points.

Hope you are right Pete.  Harry and me are going tonight so it would be great to see and the look on Brodies face as the 7th went in.

If he is still on the pitch that is. ;)
