Good luck today against North Ferriby. Like a mini-version of Town v Hull. Oh to have that fixture again!

It's a shame that Ferriby wouldn't agree a switch. I'm sure quite a few Mariners fans would have gone if it had been last night or tomorrow. In fact I reckon quite a few Mariners fans may even go today.

A fiver to get in and the chance of Clee beating a team 3 levels above them.

If the match had been yesterday or Sunday I would definitely have gone,I really enjoyed their last two rounds,Ok the football is to a lower standard but boy ! every player puts in 100%. Well done to Cleethorpes for getting this far in the competition,Come on lads you can do it again today.I will be at BP but will have one eye on the Cleethorpes match scores. If the game at BP is crap my other eye will be watching the ships sailing in the estuary,a great view from the back row upper findus. ;) (boat)

I always knew Nathan Jarman would end up at Bradley Pitches.

That six figure sum we got from Hull for him seems very good business now.

Who would have thought that Cleethorpes would have a £100-000 player in their side.

I see that after putting Cleethorpes out, North Ferriby have been drawn at home to Grantham in the next (qualifying) round

After this round (3rd qualifying) which takes place in a couple of weeks, then we start off our own FA cup campaign

Would be good to get the winners of this one so we can get a bit of localish interest to see us in to the First Round Proper

Work Experience For Defedner Ellis Humble

Grimsby Town Youngster Joins The Owls

GRIMSBY Town youngster Ellis Humble has joined Cleethorpes Town on an initial one month loan.

The 18 year-old defender is yet to make a league appearance for the Mariners having been handed a professional deal in the summer.

Humble’s move the Owls will see him get more games under his belt and bolster Marcus Newell’s side’s charge in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.
