I thought it was credited to Pitman afterwards deflected in off his backside or something

The os don't even know on the report it's says pitman scored it but it then goes on to say paddy put us in the lead with 16 minutes to go

Pittman's the answer. The report was written after the game, then the goal was changed on the Monday (http://www.grimsby-townfc.co.uk/news/article/its-jps-goal-1836690.aspx)
