Although we are missing a few, on paper this isn't a bad team and Hurst shouldn't be making excuses.  The main aim should be to keep a clean sheet and it's a strong defensive and midfield line up.  No excuses if we get another thrashing - Hurst should get his coat.  A draw or a hard fought narrow defeat away against the form side would be disappointing but not deserving of a sacking

We'll level at half time isn't bad. Trouble is if we settle for this and are too defensive in the second half we are inviting trouble. Would love to see us be positive and really go for it second half, these days when it's 3 points for a win I think you have to, an away point is always good but 3 would be magic, of course we could get hit with a sucker punch, but I won't criticise town losing if they are busting a gut trying to win. C'mon town

4 points out of a possible 15, doesn't change things.

Great effort tonight by the whole team and the fans - we have gone to an in form team and with a depleted front line, come away with a point AND COULD HAVE HAD 3!

Neilson sounded superb in the first half.  Clay again sounded as though he had another good game.

Well done Town

poor result again.....more points dropped, and confirmation that Nsiala is the worst player in the league

I thought he was excellent against Dover.  He'll come good but if I was Walker I'd be thinking what do I need to do to get a game at RB lol

Happy with a point, its just unfortunate that 3 or 4 games finishing has let us down.

Am increasingly thinking Bruce is a bit of a Wayne or ffs character. Think it's someone taking the pee

Nothing less than I would expect either as the manager or as a fan

Springsteen again proving he's just a pointless stadium rocker. Keep up the pointless negativity and eat my red cross yank boy :-)

Good result despite the fact we didn't have a striker over the height of 5ft 8, against a strong team away from home. Feared for us before k.o. but away point is good result.
Now time to get a striker in for Saturday and chase for 3 points

Good point considering, just hope the team can build on this for the next match.

Well done to the travelling fans, excellent support!

it is not a good result, its 2 points dropped.

We simply are not good enough, the league table isnt lying, and 7-8 teams are better than us

why are you all so blind?

Toto is not the worst player in the league! He's just got one of the worst managers in the league when it comes down to tactical leadership.

Classic British Football comment that, why on earth do you HAVE to have a big striker.

Decent result that could've been made better with a striker, funny that.

Not many teams will get points at Halifax this season, it is a good point especially after the last two losses, why can't you give credit where its due?

Terrific spirit, I'm tempted to come up with some guff about using it as a springboard but won't bother...let's see if  the elusive striker can be found and what Saturday brings. I'm dubious that we'll find any consistency yet still think we're just a couple of players off a team fit to challenge.

Good point though.

Very pleased, but if we'd taken our chances it could have been three points.

Story of the season.

I've only just seen the score - deliberately kept away from following the game to avoid putting a hex on the result and it seems to have worked, partially at least.  ;)

Good to see Neilson continuing to play well but disappointing that another player has missed yet another sitter! That's LJL, Pittman, Brown and Mackreth who have missed easy chances which might well have given us victories this season.

I watched the Arsenal game against Dortmund. Arsenal were absolutely hammered and looked hopeless most of the time and the only surprise is that Dortmund didn't put a hatful past them. So quick throughout the team with endless pressing of the opposition and great attacking. If we were a tenth, no, a twentieth as good as that, we'd be romping this League!

Good point considering we were one down after four minutes, great fight back by the boys and with a bit of care we could have won it, need another striker though before Saturday

If we had got this point on the back of 2 wins then there would be more cause for satisfaction. As it is the point has probably taken a little bit of pressure off the manager who must have been wearing a brown tracksuit after they scored in 5 minutes.

His team selection and tactics were right but to be honest a Sunday League manager would have sussed out what was needed against Halifax and the injuries actually made that job easier by cutting his choices.

I just hope where not far gone to catch up when we get the full team back with Pittman, Thomas, Arnold, LJL. We would have options i would play Arnold and Mackreth on the wings with Nielson in a free role with Hannah or Pittman up front, Magnay at RB Thomas back in LB.

Might only be 4 players but Pittman and Thomas are a few weeks away, hopefully Arnold could make the squad saturday, LJL doesn't look hopeful but that gets Hannah more game time who i believe with Nielson and Mackreth or Arnold he could get goals this season but we all know probably Hannah knows aswell that if he scores a hat rick saturday and LJL fit for the following game he will be dropped for LJL.

Toto had to play tonight, Bignut and Walker would've got battered by their sole tactic of hoofing it towards the channels.
