Those goals should be put on Look North and every other local TV programme so as many people as possible can see them: they would bring more back into the fold and make others realise we are playing some good stuff. I bet there isn't another football club in the country with so many great goals from just one month.

For me his goal v Gateshead is IMO an all round better strike.  His initial first touch to kill a difficult ball dead and then bamboozle two Gateshead players in one deft movement is magic.  Long may his rich vein of form continue.

LJL's finish against Alfreton is not to be sniffed at either, he's not got a great deal of the goal to aim for.  The lad was a beast in that game, and that finish shows you what confidence can do to a player.

I'd say Neilson's first vs Gateshead was the best. Great turn and great finish. His finish versus Aldershot was great technique as well as he didn't try to hit it too hard - just guided it in.

For me, the second best goal was LJL's against Alfreton - a great finish with very little to aim at.

It's encouraging to see so many other good goals from just a few weeks of the season as well.

Baxter OG at Gateshead, just because it was Baxter and it was so funny.

Neilson v Aldershot.  So often you see those chances launched out of the ground.

According to GET Pearson says we should be more clinical, well nothing could be more clinical than these great goals. I know what he means we need to put our chances away, but chances are missed at all levels of the game and remember we are in The Vanerama not the Premier League. If we play in the positive style of recent games, take the game to the opposition we will create chances and no doubt we will get goals. Time to worry is when we are failing to create any.

We've scored some great goals so far this season. Let's hope we can start to score more horrible, scruffy ones as well.

Agreed - absolute missile!

Though Scott Neilson's volley against Aldershot is pretty special too.

It has to be Neilsons against Gateshead for me. Not just the turn and strike but the significance of it. Being harshly sent off against them in the playoffs and returning in his first game back to do that, priceless!

Seems like the Slick Haired Kid has got 2 good shouts for it, though Brown's v Alf Reton was excellent too. Shop's v Alf was good too.

Nielson v Gateshead. Great touch to lose 2 defenders and a cracking strike.

Nielson against Gateshead for me.  That collection could easily be goal of the season though.  Particularly over the last few years.
