J.T thinks disley wide right.  I think either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 like we finished last wk.

Looks like 4-3-3 - bold but understandable given our injuries. Just hope this system works better than when we've previously experimented with it.

We really need to step up and go for 3 pts every game and not be happy with even a draw away from home.

Just picked up on Fyfield not being included in the squad...

Seems a bit odd to me given that Aswad is coming back in from injury and that in the last 15 minutes against Salisbury Fyfield played pretty well imho

I'd have had him in ahead of Southwell maybe  :-/

A bit risky given that Doig's gone off and Hatton is his replacement

We need to dig in here otherwise it'll be points dropped rather than gained if we're not careful

Blah blah should have got something at Barnet, blah blah should have won at Southport,  blah blah unlucky not to get 3 points at Mac.... top 5 placings drifting further away, you're going to blow this big time Town. A poor transfer window leaves us with square pegs and round holes tactics once again, unacceptable Mr Hurst.

Too many missed chances and you nearly always pay the price. Would have been the almost perfect day with Barnet losing at home and Lincoln snatching a draw at Alfreton. Now I'm just bloody miserable. Thanks Town! :-(

Doesn't matter now another two points thrown away, how many more times can we afford to do that.

They say there always is a team that comes out the pack and makes the play offs,

Well we are 9th, it could be us this season.

I am getting really sick of having games in hand now.  I cannot get too down as with our games in hand we should still be in the playoffs, plus if we are a bit smarter and do what we should of done today (i.e. see it out) we would be 6th with 5 games in hand.  But at the same time I am finding it incredibly frustrating looking at us in 9th and seeing us fail to capitalise when teams around us only get points.  I hate the way we just seem to be drifting along constantly out of sync with the rest of the league.

You sometimes just have to make your own luck Marinette

We had a great chance to just sit tight for the last minute and to see it out and we blew it!

We had the ball...we should have kept it or put it out of harm's way and not allowed Macc to get it in to the box to win the pen in the first place

Back to drama and over-reaction then I see. Very disappointing to give away 2 points late on but would've been reasonably pleased with a point before kick off. I'd have thought some would be delighted having identified it as a 100% certain defeat. Anyway, 4 points from our last 2 games should've steadied the ship after a poor run. People seem desperate to lay the blame all at Disley's feet but he didn't concede the penalty. Pearson has been outstanding all season but he does push his luck at times, wrapping arms round attackers etc.

Just look in the goals 'for' section - that's why we are 9th

There are a number of teams who seem to be hanging in there which is making life difficult for us
We could pay a big price for not being clinical

Hurst is fuming and he has every right to be - the ref has admitted he didn't give penalty cos he didnlt like the way Jennings fell; so, if he's not sure, he doesn;t consult the linesman who HAS given it and had a clear view and then he books Jennings for diving!!
Having said all that - great performance apparently but 9 shots and 1 on target... ermmmmm!

You've got to feel for Hurst we just don't seem to get any luck, sounds like  if the officials had been half decent we would have had 3 points and everyone would have been singing Hursts praises. Kerr sounds just as hacked off explains the arguments at the end.

Seems a right comedy of errors because it was Shaun who got the booking and Aswad got away scott free...well not quite because Kerr had a go at him at the end!  ;)

I think you have to ask the question - 'Why was Fyfield not on the bench, if he is available? It is admitted that Doig is carrying some sort of problem.

To have 3 strikers on the bench away from home, with the above defensive fragility, doesn't make sense, in my view. Felt we were in trouble when Doig went off.

To make things worse he gave them a pissing peno after the other lino flagged for one, so why not us.  It riffles me the ref apparently said our player went down to easy....even if he did he was still tripped the lino gave it god going round in circles the ref has cost us 2 points simple as. We should of finished then of and thats what we definitely need to improve next season.

Also their player went down after being pulled on the arm.  You don't really go down if you get pulled. You just get pulled back. You can't run if you get your legs taken away. So if anything, the going down after a tackle on the legs is always gonna be more legit than a pull on the arm when the ball is flying out of play in the last minute when you are losing!!!
