T' folk in Bratford seem to think Connell is signing for them

http://www.claretandbanter.co.uk/index.php?threads/alan-connell.31238/

Good signing if you ask me. I know we couldn't care less but its better than the 10 years today thread / 30 seconds threads.

Btw 5 mins ago I had a big poo...

He won't settle if he joins them - he's a Southerner who wants to be near his family.

Six months max if he moves up this way again !

If it didn't block the toilet it can't have been that big!!

It was big, just the fact it was sloppy thats why it didn't cause a block.

Wonder if he has a lot of family in Bradford...

How ever you look at it, to me it just reinforces what a good bit of business it was to sell Connell on.

Tbh I really do not know what type of striker connell is? however it appears he comes with a good pedigree , still not sure where this signing will ross hannah? Maybe a loan deal for ross elsewhere? . Breaking news? Dear me telegraph sports journalist , a total joke for the supporters of bradford cty

a quality forward who will score loads if given the chance, just think he finished with 13 for us (top scorer) and we piissed the league.
But he will miss sitters, so give him a chance and stick with him.i think we paid £175k for him gave him a 2 year contract and then gave him to you for free.

Wondering if the reason Swindon let him go on a free was to avoid the inevitable sell on clause they would have had to pay us (assuming we put one in the deal)

They seem to be loaded now they have their relatively new owners and no longer seem bothered by money side.

He's close to his best friend Coulson again and will be on decent wages. Doesn't seem to be shocking as everyone is making out.

Bradford is a dump etcetc... Why do people come out with this excrement? I'm sure there are lovely areas round there, and it is also ridiculously close to Leeds which is one of the most vibrant cities in the country.

Do you think the Town players live in Nunsthorpe?

Such a shame all those wonderful goals wasted on the bantams!

So what if he's gone for money? If I'm offered a new job with a shed load more money I'll take It, feel very little loyalty to my employers, why's it any different for Connell or any other lower league player for that matter. It's not like they're In the Position of these premier league players, they earn decent money but it's not great by any stretch of the imagination. Fair play to him.
