Hell... send the Grimsby scouts to the African slums, surely we can get another Cisse!

I wonder how much he is worth now, 13 goals in 14 games, he adapted to the premiership very quickly!

Doesn't include his second goal yet, but if you exclude the first game he played, it's 13 goals in 13 games I suppose lol.

But he scored. Both goals tonight which would make 13 no!

Yep that's what I said lol. :)

IF Newcastle sell either Ba or Cisse, they will be the biggest muppets ever!

13 in 12. There's 2 games in that list he didn't play in (Blackburn and Arsenal).

They might have no choice if a bigger club come in for them. I know Newcastle have a massive fanbase but they can't compete with Real, Man City or Chelsea with funding.

Suarez from the halfway line was good as well.

I'm sure I hears on the radio that there is a pretty low release clause in Cisse's contract. Think it said £7 million which would be a nightmare for Newcastle.

The £7m clause (if correct) is Ba (Cisse cost £10m!)

Incidentally, Ba hasn't scored since Cisse's debut.

There is no clause in his contract. Why would they put in a release clause after making the mistake of putting one in demba Ba's contract. He is the best striker in the world right now. Toon toon!

He has been played wide left. Still quality though and hit the bar tonight

Borderline illegal!!! To even think about hitting it from there, well wow! In the immortal words of Andy Gray..."take a bow son, take a bow" ;D

Miss and your boss is going to berate you; but score like that and you're the hero.

Modric re-enacted the 'Scholes goal' tonight for Tottenham's opener too. Two incredible goals in two matches, and Cisse's first was fairly tidy too.

I wouldn't go that far. Messi scored his 7th hat-trick of the season last night. That's a measley 67 for the season now, not bad!

He scored 39 goals in 67 games for Freiburg ... not the best team in the Bundesliga .... doesn't sound like he was shite to me!

I'm sure I can remember him missing a sitter on his debut, 2 infact. One a free header in the 2nd half, about 5 minutes before his goal. You dont do bad getting to all these games do you considering the fact that you needed to use this forum for a supporters coach the other day?

I might be a bit controversial here but I actually thought his first goal was the better of the two. There was definitely more skill involved in the first goal whereas the 2nd had a large element of luck about it. On another day it could have gone high and wide as he just seemed to swing a boot at it, unlike the first where he controlled it and knew exactly where he was going to put it.

Still a brilliant strike though.
