Is that as well as being a postman?

Well presumably since I doubt coaching part-time at North Ferriby would earn him enough to pay the bills.

He was my postie for a while but not seen him lately. After we got relegated at Burton he put "Up the Mariners" on my letters on the Monday morning. Nice to know an ex player still takes an interest in the club and it's fans. Top man.

Yep, he's a top bloke. I broke down near his place over the water. I ended up at his place while my mate came to pick me up from stripeyland. (My mate is a friend of his). The Whittles really looked after me and my family.

I work in Brough once each year and a couple of times now I've seen him pottering to the shops with that unmistakeable shimmy. Always greeted with beeps and waves by passers by I noticed -what a top bloke. Wanted to go have a chin-wag myself but the locals kept beating me to it!

He recently got sacked for defacing the queen's mail.  ;)

I hope he does well for them. Even though others didn't try for us at the time you knew JW would always give 100%. We may not have seen the best of Justin in his prime but he is up there with some of the great servants we have had.

I always thought it a pity that Sarge didn't get to figure for us in the JPT final at Wembley

He'd served us really well and AB knew he was getting close to severing his ties with us....an appearance at Wembley would have been a nice send off imho

Hard to argue with that. Moore and Nicoll kept many Championship level strikers at bay.

I spoke to him a few days before the final and it seemed apparent then, that he didn't feel he was going to feature - a great pity and a great bloke!
