What watering hole will we be frequenting tonight? I see there is a pub called the orange tree 300 yards from the 'ground' :-) I know it's a Tuesday night and many may be disappointed after sat but let's get some good numbers out tonight and show them we care!!!

The Orange Tree sells a good selection of Real Ales (or so I've been told), Braintree's own club sells Greene King IPA from the barrel: not sure if away fans are welcome though (this season).

Hope this helps.

Away fans are being kept separated from home fans for this game on po  lice instructions apparently, I would think that would apply to any ground bars etc

There are a few good pubs in Chelmsford. I think you can walk to the ground from there?

One of my mates worked in Chelmsford for a while - said braintree was nearby. I take it from your reaction that it isn't?

Chelmsford is a 5 minute walk from braintree fc!  Leave the pub about 7.30 your be in the ground for kick off no problem, just watch the local hoodlums on the way though. They can be very naughty

I'd guess it's not due to use of full stop and capital letters.

Anybody know what parking there is near the ground tonight?

Whereabouts in Hertfordshire are you? I'm visiting the in-laws this week so only have the short journey from Much Hadham near Bishop's Stortford for tonight's game. A well planned visit!
