I'd agree with Major. The Tory c***s for ushering in the break up of the railways and making train travel the misery it is today. And making Saturdays more expensive with privatised companies ripping off fans with higher fares and a poor service.

Aye when your train arrives 10 minutes late into Donny but the connection which you have nine minutes to catch has just departed from Platform 8. Sorry mate...nothing to do with us. Have a word with your train company....

Harsh. I like Brian Laws. He's as passionate as they come. I'm sure you're referring to the infamous Bometti incident? Sure, it's been downhill from there aside from a win st Anfield and beating the Jews at BP.

I'd have Lawsy back in a flash.  Wasn't a fishy member when he was around. But a shame, as I would quite happily have predicted that he would do well.

twit of the 90's? Is this like 'Match of the 70's'? Will Dennis 'feem toon' Waterman be doing the commentary?

As for the twit of the 90's: Timothy McVeigh. The world is a far better place without the likes of him.

That's the worst, "just buy a ticket on the other train, keep the ticket, send it off and we'll refund you". Completely neglecting any thought you might not have the ridiculous amount of money they now charge for trains when you buy on the train and that you won't see the money for a good few months.

Its a lot harder to repair something once it's broken!

Had Labour done what they should have and re-nationalised the railways no doubt you'd have been one of the ones on here accusing them of wasting money... :-/

13 years is a fking long time to leave something broken, or at least not to come up with a viable alternative.

Of course, it wouldn't be Tony's cronies, or his lovely "uman rights made me a fortune" wife.   Nothing to do with old one eye not even being elected as a PM.  Or the able deputy PM.  Lord/Baron (I'd never accept that title, oops ok then, maybe I will sell out my working class roots) Prescott.  Nope good old Labour had us running just fine eh  :(

And breathe....and when you have, please stop to think of the incongruousness of including Tony Bliar in a thread regarding nationalisation and therefore Socialist principles.

P.S. I don't know if incongruousness is a word but it would be a massive score on Countdown!

Judging by property values in Luton and Dunstable, I think the market has already decided that.
If you go 5 miles out of there, it's a totally different story and there is no need to ever go near the place unless Town are playing them.
