Great quiz!

Thanks

So the final question... which of the 14 clubs without a league title since 1979/80 or before is most likely to break that drought this season?

Barnsley
Blackpool
Crewe Alexandra
Grimsby Town
Hartlepool United
Huddersfield Town
Morecambe
Peterborough United
Port Vale
Rochdale
Sheffield Wednesday
Southampton
Tottenham Hotspur
Tranmere Rovers

Great quiz Mike.

I actually fancy us to do well but think it could be Wednesday's year for a title. How about both of us?

I wonder which clubs have gone longest without being relegated?

Arsenal?

Has to be surely. Arsenal have only ever been relegated once in 1912-13 and only spent 2 seasons in the 2nd tier. The First World War stopped them resuming their top flight residency in 1915/16 but were back in the top flight when football restarted in 1919/20 and have been in the top flight ever since.

Arsenal last relegated in 1913. Morecambe weren't founded until 1920.
