At best that tag line is tribalistic, classless, insensitive and ignorant. At worst it’s disrespectful to the innocent men women and kids who died going to a football match.
You don’t like an entire group of people based on your limited experience of them - fine but, to me that line is totally unnecessary.
You are perpetuating rubbish that was built upon words by such luminaries as Boris Johnson and Kelvin MacKenzie. They’re not the kind of people I’d want to be associated with but each to their own I guess.

Nothing to do with what happened at Hillsbrough- they were found innocent

Theres the Heisel Stadium Disaster for example, this attitude of everyones against us

I stand by the fact that they have an entitlement of they can do what they want but when it happens to them, theres uproar. Always the victims. Theres a reason that they are extremely disliked across the footballing world particuarly in the UK

I respect your opinion, i’d ask that you respect mine

It’s actually mental that people STILL try and make comparisons between Heysel - where 14 fans were prosecuted for manslaughter, with two police chiefs and the head of the Belgian FA also charged - and Hillsborough, where nobody has ever been charged with a criminal offence and the whole  thing has been proven as a 30-year cover up from the police, government and press.

There’s been at least two prime time ITV dramas about it and a feature length BBC documentary. It’s not even a secret. How bad must it have been for it to just be openly admitted on prime time television?

As for people on benefits, not sure anyone living around NE Lincs is in any position to throw stones…

You’re deluded if you think that the tag line has nothing to do with Hillsborough.
The Heysel disaster was an avoidable tragedy and people will have to live with their actions from that day. Loss of life in those circumstances is absolutely awful, although I never quite understand the use of Heysel as a retort to anyone mentioning Hillsborough.
I have no problem with respecting your opinion no matter how much I may question it but, I cannot respect the crass way in which you expressed it.

Hopefully our season won't end until early June, when it does we can look forward to a good couple of months of threads like this one, add to that.....

- More Lincoln obsession
- More laughing at the Scunts falling to bits (hopefully)
- What Hurst got right or wrong in the play offs
- Is Bogle coming back?
- Is Amond coming back?
- Former player is available.... should we?
- XXX should have been offered a deal
- XXX shouldn't have been offered a deal.
- Fenty (getting lower down the list TBH)
- The new owners are crap because they don't throw millions at it when Chesterfield, Notts etc.. sign someone we've heard of..

Lets just hope the sun shines and the cricket is a decent watch.

I’m sure the people of Turin would disagree with this I didn’t bother reading it btw

Ye funny how that is always conventionally forgotten.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

I’m sure it’s forgotten in some unusual ways too!
Though how you can say that? Especially when it’s literally been mentioned on this thread multiple times already!
Care to explain why you can’t have sympathy for both tragedies?

Maybe everybody singing  "the wheels on the bus" while levitating will pacify those who don't like the National anthem or take offence at the knee/not taking the knee.

Mind you the Eddie Stobart movement will probably take offence that a bus song has been selected and blockade the motorways.

Those contentious and shocking lyrics in full! The composer of the UK and Commonwealth national anthem is unknown. It was adopted as an anthem in September 1745, during the reign of George II (1727 – 1760). https://www.classicfm.com/discover-music/british-national-anthem-lyrics/

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen!
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us,
God save the Queen!

O Lord our God arise,
Scatter our enemies,
And make them fall!
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
God save us all!

Not in this land alone,
But be God’s mercies known,
From shore to shore!
Lord make the nations see,
That men should brothers be,
And form one family,
The wide world o’er.

From every latent foe,
From the assassins blow,
God save the Queen!
O’er her thine arm extend,
For Britain’s sake defend,
Our mother, prince, and friend,
God save the Queen!

Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour,
Long may she reign!
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause,
To sing with heart and voice,
God save the Queen!

Interesting ,not read all the words for 25 years at which point I decided I would never sing that crap.
God save the queen my Aarse. Not anti this particular queen but an out dated undemocratic irrelevant institution in my opinion
