I think we all know that the GTFC player of the year will be John McAtee.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I’ve voted for Clifton. Not the obvious choice, but he’s been superb this season and an unsung hero.

Waterfall POTS
McAtee YPOTS

Waterfall deserves recognition for his improvement although it helps that McAtee is eligible for YPOTS.

Waterfall, although he deserves a Saudi style flogging for that own goal the other day

How often has Waterfall scored an own goal and then gone on to correct it with a goal in the right net?

As much as I like McAtee, I think if things aren't going for him, his temperament gets the better of him. I voted for the Phoenix - Waterfall.  He's battled for everything this season.  Even after his superb diving header for Barnet, he didn't let his head get down

Waterfall…a player that looked finished under Hollowhead and a player who looked to have just faded in to the distant memory by the end of last season.

This season, well, he’s like a new man and OG aside, he’s been nothing short of excellent, chipped in with important goals, has helped bring on players like Towler and Smith and it’s clear he is respected and valued…

I’ve gone for Harry but could have been Waterfall. McAtee as Young Player, not as consistent as the other two.
