Think this is the right team. Might have preferred Sousa on bench to Clifton but….come on Town!

It’ll be interesting to see who plays the Mcatee role. Let’s hope we’ve learned from the last time he was injured.

Huge game today against a team in form, UTM

Would like to have seen Fox in the middle with Hoolihan, and Sousa on the opposite wing to Scans.

Funnily enough I'm feeling a bit on edge for this game - the thought of slipping out of the playoffs with a couple of poor results is at the back of my mind.  And as we get to the bottom-clenching end of the season I'm starting to worry about "if we do make the playoffs, do we have a shout of beating those teams in a 1-off game?"

Over analysing - I guess fans of the other teams are like that as well.   I have to say I quite like the format of the playoffs this season -  i 10 places in play....3 relegation, 7 promotion/play offs   - it really stretches out the season for a lot of the teams

Hopefully holohan, JMD and scannell will be given a bit of freedom and flexibility on the attack , mix and match positional wise something a bit more modern, with jones and clifton doing the grafting in midfield

Not nervous so much but no McAtee makes a big difference, we’ve already seen that. Just hope we can get off to a good start so everyone can relax a bit.

I think Holahan will be a lot better replacement than Clifton or whoever it was last time. It’s more his game to break forward and get nearer Taylor.

Great to see JMD and Scannell start together.

It's been a strange season.  Start of on fire and unstoppable. Then we go through the lean spell but still playing well.  Lots of games we deserved more than what we got.  Of late we haven't been particularly great but scraping goals.

Wind has made it very difficult but we've been second best with too many individual errors. Fortunate to be level, but we've had our own chances as well.

I think we'll need to score another to get something from this game, but hopefully, they'll struggle against the wind as much as we have at times.

Could do with JMD getting involved as he's been very ineffective so far.

Not really looking up for it today, some individual good moments from Clifton but for the most part the team seem to be phoning it in during the first half. As with his last absence from injury, we miss the fire that McAtee brings to the team to drive forward and make something happen.

At least the ref is having none of their BS which makes a change in this league, probably used to conning the low standard of officials most weeks.

Lots of build up work by us outside the Torquay box, but they're getting so many men behind the ball, preventing use from shooting or finding that killer pass for a goal.
Frustrating!!

Got covid, so had to listen to this on the radio, sounds like we were woeful in the first half, but could have easily put the game to bed in the second, as most have said all season, it seems as though we just need that fox in the box character who gambles on balls dropping in the box.

Although, on a more positive note we got the win, absolutely delighted! We found a way to win which we often don't. We've definitely done ourselves a huge favour going into our last 4 games, I don't see why we can't finish at least 5th, as most results have gone our way today as well. Well done lads!

Come on town! Let's go out with a bang! (A good one)

*Edit - Just seen the Chesterfield score, BOOOOO!

Amos was tripped in the box. Not quite sure what he was doing up there at the time but credit, I suppose, for getting forward!

Well, that was worth the trip up from Stoke.

1st half I thought we dropped to Torquays level full and they took advantage. Clifton did a great job creating a goal from pretty much nothing as we went through another dull moment in play. After that there was only going to be one winner.

2nd half we were the far betrer team. It was just a matter of waiting for the goal. Clifton was everywhere (I know I'm shocked as well   ) he should of probably done better with gis 1 on 1s. Scannell and Taylor were great with their 1 touch passes and town town best moments were when we passed the ball round Torquay. Couldn't see the foul for the pen from the upper, but I'm pretty sure that was Abrahams first touch when he scored.

I thought Hurst once again was a bit slow with his subs after the JMD one. I think we could of had 3 or 4 if we'd got another striker on earlier.

Ref had a good game. Can't complain about his performance for a change.

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

What is it with sodding Dover?  Yet again they get themselves in front and chuck it all away in the last few minutes.

There was that game at Wrexham when they lead 5-2 with half an hour to go and conceded 4 late goals.  4!

Today they were 2-1 up at Chesterfield up with a few minutes to go and managed to lose 3-2.

They play Notts County on Tuesday.  What's the betting they are 2-1 up with a minute to go and end up loosing?

Bottom of the league with a -58 goal difference.

The very epitome of dodgy in defence.

Wrexham lose to Woking having been in the lead at half time.

I bet they and their fans are gutted  . Stockport have lost twice in week now and Wrexham haven't capitalised.

Just shows that these teams are not invincible and can be beaten in the playoffs.

Looks like we are almost certain to end up in the playoffs so anything can happen.

True but they scored 5 at Wrexham and 2 at Chesterfield so they can obviously find the net. Lets hope they score enough against Notts to actually end up with at least a point.

Imagine being a Dover fan.  They're already down and the only thing you could shout about is beating some of the bigger teams.  Unfortunately, they blew it both times.   First Wrexham and then Chesterfield
