I didn't even bother queuing for the catering kiosk, I saw the queue but I managed to get a view right at the front of the terrace so I didn't want to lose that

The whole set-up was a shambles. Hopefully (for footballing reasons) we never play them again, but if we do I don't think I would bother again unless it was sub £15. Crazy to think Chesterfield was £18 and included a seat, a covered stand, a bar, and adequate refreshments.

We've taken big followings to Bromsgrove and Clee Town, to name 2 smaller clubs, and they've both managed much better and provided a better matchday experience.

Feel sorry for anyone who took kids. I'm well over 6 foot and saw virtually nothing!

Atrocious facilities and view for many given the price charged…not an away day I’d happily endure again…

Fair point, and a toilet for players and supporters….. or so Podge thought when he jumped the barrier for a pee before the extra time.

Been to the Walks a few times as a kid, but only ever sat in the grand stand for games that were about step 4 or 5 into non-league in the early to mid 90s - never more than a couple of hundred there.

Worst I can remember watching Town, at least in the league, was Guiseley. Had about three very slightly stacked steps to the away end, so all I could realistically see was the top third of the goal at each end, and the corner flag nearest to me.

Thankfully Podge kindly scored a looping header at the far end so at least I saw some kind of action that night.
