Well that was embarrassing, totally clueless and inept !

Even with Stockport playing with ten men we were second best !

Anybody planning on a London weekend for the play-off final, save your money.

Sort it Hurst !!!!!!!

I can’t believe the negative comments aimed at Town, we’ve just beat top of the table Stockport who haven’t lost a league game in 2022, it sounded to me that Town played with grit and pushed forward
(especially the second half) surely that’s the important part at this time of the season, when we are not at our best but still win then that’s a good sign surely ?  I really thought we’d get a draw at best today so to get that very important win is fantastic.

We’ve still got a lot to do but our recent record going into the business end of the season surely puts us in a strong position now.

No pleasing some people.

Think it's possible to both be delighted with the result and simultaneously critical of Jones, who really did have a terrible game. Thought Scannell was brilliant all match, and Holohan certainly improved his performance in the second half. We benefited hugely from Challinor's dumb decision to take Quigley off as he was the man causing all the problems, but very glad he did.

Spot on. Taking Harry off and leaving Corporal Jones on when he had run out of gas and reduced to waving his arms and pointing seemed bizarre. Really hope he is 'rested' on Monday and that Mani gets more than his derisory 5 min. Taylors's work was done once we were ahead. He is not the best at defending from the front.

In my opinion both Clifton and Jones should have been replaced as Clifton was not in the game at all and wasted a good opportunity to deliver a dangerous ball in at the far post early in the second half and on occasions his not having a good left peg does impact negatively on our attacking options. Jones was very poor today, but in his favour he never stopped wanting the ball despite never passing it on to a team mate, and I think a return for Fox is likely for Kings Lynn.

Defensively we did ok throughout the match although distribution was not quite at its best first half. Think the football gods paid us back for the undeserved losses to Notts County and Chesterfield as we won without being anywhere near our best. Scannell and McD on either side looked a very good combination and I would probably start with that on Monday and also give Taylor a rest as well. However, Sousa and Wright may also be an off the wall option that would give us real pace outwide to hopefully open them up and create more goal scoring chances.

Torquay also having a very good run of form and we all now how that pillock Johnson has a habit of pissing on our parade so hoping that by next Saturday we can get the two wins needed to really cement our play off position.
