I've known Linda for many years now and her courage in adversity is inspiring. She hopes to be at the game on Saturday. We saw her a few weeks ago after other Town fans had arranged to collect her and take her back to Hull. Superb effort.

She’s a lovely woman. Not seen her for a few years. Knew she was ill, but didn’t realise how ill until a mate sent me a link to a BBC Humberside item about that funeral form collapse.

I had a few years with Linda, the lass has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
The whole situation is heartbreaking and they deserve the support that I'm sure they will get.

You couldn't help but feel happy for her Chris.... we've all said many times that when we're feeling things are against us, a Town win can help make you feel better

At least with the target being achieved - and bettered -  Linda has one less thing to have to deal with

It's now on social media so sadly Linda passed away in the early hours of Monday morning.
Town through and through and always noticed with her Shaun the sheep backpack.
I had the delight of a few years with the lass following Town.
Thoughts with and a big up to the man she met shortly before her horrible disease was diagnosed who not only stuck with her but married her and saw her through it.

Can’t say that I knew her, but I definitely knew of her. The sheep rucksack was always a giveaway. The same as many fans of our great club you don’t know everyone but you recognise faces and people (the same with many on here I guess).

RIP Linda, came across as a genuinely nice person, always had a smile on her face - even when I saw her at a match just before the season ended. If there are small mercies, it's that she got to see us promoted.
