Yes Fenty was a twit but what exactly have the new owners done in the past 8 months other than a new glass barrier, a new ticket system, a new badge and overseen the club drop to nearly it's lowest point in its history?

Spot on there

FWIW I'm reading Wrexham fans giving Town credit for how difficult we made it and how their keeper kept them in front, I'm still seething at that Abraham's miss. Don't get many bettet chances than that.

Well it's taken a while but people are actually pining for the good old days under JF. You couldn't write such comedy gold.
We'll never know how things would be had he stayed but I very much doubt it would have been better, and despite the current run I genuinely hold greater optimism for the future of our club under the new regime
They must be feeling the heat but lest we forget, 90% of the people on here were directing bile at Fenty no more than 12 months ago

Its a total disgrace  . if these new owners are some of the best no wonder this country is in a mess,, When will they realise that to get ahead and do good you have to have a good product to sell , in this case a TEAM . Not expencive beer . or scotch eggs .. and we dont even need a different training ground ,, its all a smoke screen for a vanity project .. We need a team starting with a manager that knows what he is doing and players that can play  not kids from fancy play schools that dont know how to wipe there asses yet . New owners came in and gave everyone hope , but all they have done is get the decorators in , And all hurst has done is get kids in to replace kids and so far none of them are up to the job . Sack him and get someone in that knows what he is doing , and stop playing the we are doing it for the town game , We want a team a football team not this shower of crap

You never cease to amaze me at how thick you are or how little you know.

Which was a silly fundamental mistake.

Never say never in football. It's not working however much they wish it so, and should have left their options open.

If it was as easy as keeping a manager in place come what may and offering him your full support, all clubs would do it wouldn't they?

In the good old days, the full support of the Chairman would have meant that the P45 had already been written.

Of course you only have to look at how quickly he reacted to the rubbish served up by Slade.

Reinvigorated the fan base, put an extra 2k people on the gates, gave us a football club to be proud of etc.

Edit: Also fixed the fox holes in the pitch and gave us round footballs

You might be proud of languishing mid table in the National League but I'm not.
