All the defeats have been fine margins but crucially fine margins that have not gone our way. That is down to a lack being clinical and a lack of nastiness and win at all costs mentality. Bromley's behaviour at their place should have been enough to instill all of that in us, if only for those fans that got drunk wet through.

We can’t complain as we’ve got community engagement, scotch eggs and a new crest
We are living the dream
And last season was so much better...lets not forget who started the rot....

The fact that you scoff at community engagement shows exactly why the last fifteen years have been a struggle.

Are we really criticising the owners for trying to improve the match day experience by changing the catering and the drinks served?!? The only thing i can criticise them for is by seemingly sticking with Hurst with the run the team is currently on. I have no idea who could or would come in but the fact of the matter is he has to go, asap.

We’re way too soft. That’s the difference.

Corrected.
The crux of your point stands though. 8 points from a possible 36 (dropping 78% of those available) isn’t good enough for a club of GTFC’s stature (history doesn’t even have to come into it), particularly on what’s now a relatively stable footing in terms of ownership and club management. I get the need for stability and affording managers time in the interest of stability and the long-term picture, but sometimes the here and now just doesn’t support the argument. As Albert Einstein once said, “Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. I think if 2 wins in 14 games against non-league opposition becomes 2 in 15, we have a pretty untenable position. I just can’t see how anyone could argue otherwise (and as was pointed out the other day, I say that has someone who has £20 riding on Hurst getting us up at some point in this tenure).

Its a total disgrace . if these new owners are some of the best no wonder this country is in a mess,, When will they realise that to get ahead and do good you have to have a good product to sell , in this case a TEAM . Not expencive beer . or scotch eggs .. and we dont even need a different training ground ,, its all a smoke screen for a vanity project .. We need a team starting with a manager that knows what he is doing and players that can play not kids from fancy play schools that dont know how to wipe there asses yet . New owners came in and gave everyone hope , but all they have done is get the decorators in , And all hurst has done is get kids in to replace kids and so far none of them are up to the job . Sack him and get someone in that knows what he is doing , and stop playing the we are doing it for the town game , We want a team a football team not this shower of crap
Oh shut up! Would you rather Fenty still be the chairman? Yes, Hurst needs to go and that’s down to the new owners, but they’ve given us more in the last 8 months than the last Chairman did in 20 years!

I’m not saying the off the field stuff didn’t need doing but a football club lives or dies by results.
