Let’s not forget the James Hunt. Solid holding midfielder  who would improve the side right now, we’re he not 45…

Happy for Alex Hunt to go back to be honest. Had half a dozen decent matches but has looked well off the pace since then. Probably benefitted from the team playing well and confidence being high in the team but as a midfielder you need to be in a position to make things happen when the going gets tough (like Disley), and not go missing.

Was wondering the same myself earlier. I hope he’s still here. He’s a very good player and a real asset. Obviously his recent form isn’t as good as earlier in the season, but he’s young and learning the game. Technically, probably our best player along with McAtee I’d say.

Not sure what happened with Alex Hunt, started really well and ran games but went off the boil a bit with many other players in the team and hasn't looked up to much since. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go on loan to another team and score like 20 goals and 40 assists after he leaves us.

If PH gets the opportunity to keep him until the end of the season he will which would be a good thing as the lad has talent.

Would his return to Hillsboro help get Wednesday into the play offs is probably the key consideration.

Then we have Clifton, Fox and Coke as our central midfielders
