It would be nice if some form of the official update was given on a new ground and training ground. Debbie said at the Trust AGM at the end of October:-

"DC said JS & AP have had some work done on potential options for the stadium debate. Final report arrived last week, so is under consideration now."

We are now 9 weeks down the line so some clarification would be appreciated; also the location of the new training ground must announced be sometime soon, as I believe JS said some weeks ago that an announcement would be imminent.

It's not a matter of being impatient but when you have been given half a sandwich you'd also like the other half.

Andrew is leading the training ground project and said there are other things outside the clubs control (landowners and council I imagine) that prevent them saying too much but he has a couple of personal preferences and hinted it wouldn't be wise to put all our effort into one early doors. After all, we all know where concentrated efforts into B&Q, Great Coates and Peaks Parkway got us in the last 20+ years.

Things take time. The above is a summary off the top of my head from the RH interview just before Christmas.

All I want to know is who the frig are we going to sign to get us out of this dreadful run.

Bring on the red crosses folks.
I’ll be surprised if we fill the number 9 slot. Or many other slots actually.
Hope to be eating large portions of humble pie.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Thank you James - I did hear the interview and I recall it in the same way you did.

As far as drink driving is concerned - Holloway may have fired off a few choice quotes to local media but PH, JS and AP are professionals. Quite apart from legal issues it will achieve little and isn't going to happen.

Worth noting that when you are in property negotiations not going public too early also helps. If a seller of landlord gets a hint that you have a preferred site they tend to have a preferred price.

Jesus, what do you want the club to say?! Why would they dwell on the Sears incident? What on earth would they say? Nothing happening is there, so crack on with other stuff FFS

Thank you for that James, I didn't hear the interview so was unaware of what was said by AP.

Didn’t they do a concept album called Tom Bombadil?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.

I’m very supportive of the new GTFC regime but two things seem very strange to me.

Firstly, the women’s team manager resigned with an enigmatic statement on Twitter.  There has been no announcement or anything at all from the Club.  A post on Twitter asking why Dale had resigned was liked by him.  It’s very odd.

Secondly, the drink driving incident has also been swept under the carpet and, so far as I am aware, never mentioned officially.  Given that the player is back in the side I would expect the club to make a statement saying that they were disappointed but want to help the player blah blah.

The fact that these two things have happened Is concerning but the complete radio silence makes me think something isn’t quite right at the club.

Losing 9/10 games at this awful level makes me thing there is something wrong at the club.

If I've a colleague who gets done drink driving then if I don't know him that well, I'll think he's a helmet but I wouldn't let it bother my professional relationship.

Womens football? Couldn't care less and doesn't have anything to do with proper football.
