Over £1m in the bank but lost £2.2m during 2020/21 taking their total losses over £20m. Scary.

How they could ever hope to trade through those losses I’ll never know.

The cash figure is interesting if they lost large proportions of income through say the season being suspended or playing behind closed doors I wonder how quickly they’d burn through it.

I’d imagine they’d burn through it pretty quick. It isn’t a huge amount given you’d have to pay everyone and still have outgoings and commitments…

Their short term debt also went up by 2.8m in the year to 11.3m. I’m assuming a significant portion of that will be ‘benign’ directors loans but its still a scary position to be in.

Excluding cash their total assets total less than 1m, do they still own their stadium?

Also would be concerned about their Equity as this has also deteriorated over the period. There would appear to be in a similar position to Southend so will they have an "embargo" imposed on them?

They are a subsidiary of an Isle of Man registered company so it’s that company’s financial position which is more important.

Just had a quick look at this and up to 2019 Notts County’s parent company was called ‘Wrexham Limited’!

That’s what I thought and suspect their player salaries would be a real liability
