I didn't get to my first Town game until 95 so missed out on the old girl looking like this. Just looks "right" with the whole ground enclosed, even if 3 corners were uncovered. Wish we'd made the corners seated and put a roof on instead of getting rid of them entirely. Ahh nostalgia for a time I never saw!

I spent a period of time watching from the open corner between the Pontoon and the Findus before they were taken out.

I checked on YouTube match highlights and they were removed between the Notts County & Southend games. It’s good to see little jobs finally being done around BP that aren’t critical but improve the match day experience.

The cost to remove those could have paid the wages of Tshimanga for a week.
