Only valuable if provenance is in place IMO. Looked at it earlier  and without something firmer in place to prove it was from that game it is just an "old shirt".  
Given the age I doubt any true provenance could be provided so down to the individual to make the choice.

If corroborated it should be in our club trophy cabinet.

Great find this. Would have loved this, my grandparents were at the game and my grandad often used to tell me about that day. They were only a young couple at the time, and he got conscripted to fight in WWII only a few months later, which always makes me sad thinking about it.

Had a fanciful (and grossly optimistic) stab at a grand, but unsurprisingly that didn’t meet the reserve. Not even going to think about going higher than that as my wife would literally cut my nob off if she found out.
