I know a fair few collectors though who wouldn't dream of buying the recent stuff, preferring instead to fill in the gaps from the 50s/60s in their collections. The Mariner is a class act but all modern programmes are bulky which makes them more difficult to store as opposed to ther collector hobbies. The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress. Joseph Joubert.

I used Covid to catalogue my collection which is closing in on the 1500 mark

There's even a picture of me receiving a scarf from Debbie in the Wrexham program! I find the article about the formative years of GTFC fascinating, as well as the columns from our new owners. It's a good read.

I buy one most games, bring it home and the kids spend the week going through it, putting the player of the weeks poster on the fridge, doing the little challenges inside etc. Not sure how long the physical programme will last, but its not dead yet. But i have other collecting hobbies and i simply dont have to space to store them these days so havent really bought them since the 90s. I know we live in an age where things are online etc but its still nice to have something physical to flick through and they are a nice momento of the event. I hope they continue.
