I hope John Fenty is available with his ladder to nail on the roof of the Main stand as the winds start to rip it off.

One strong gust and Fenty might have his legacy of a ground re-location.

As an ex player I would say that no-one ever enjoyed playing in gale force winds and even at National League  standard  it will not be an enjoyable watch if the forecast conditions arrive, it's an absolute lottery and I for one would be pleased to see it postponed if the 60 mile an hour gusts happen.

Just landed on a car down Humberston Avenue.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

It’s alright. The car was only worth £10,000.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

I advise all Boreham Wood fans not to travel up north to Cleethorpes on Saturday as the weather will be atrocious, strong winds, freezing temperatures and heavy sleet showers  Grimsby fans are reminded that they will need their big coat.

If there are any neutral fans from Newcastle, please wear a t-shirt.
