12,843 against Solihull Moors. £5 ticket offer, but still can't think SM brought many with them.

If we are both near the top come February, we could smash this even with the 6am ko  mandated by Notts Cops/BT Sport

International break wasn’t it? Bored Nott’m Forest fans would have significantly helped with that figure.

Not only was it the international break but NC offered tickets for £5 as well as promoting the match heavily as a record crowd attempt. The objective was to break the record and the match was secondary !!

I was there, fans from all colours, I was sat by Leicester & Forest supporters. A good day out for a fiver & a couple of pints of Ruddles for 99p at the nearby Trent bridge inn to follow.
Its 50/50 whether they move County game to midweek with Forest at home, so no records broken then.

No chance. If you are a true Forest fan you don't go to Meadow Lane unless... 1) Forest are away at County - or 2) You are visiting the wholesale market.

I live in an area full of Nott’m Forest fans and I know enough of them to know they hate Derby, Leicester & Middlesbrough, but don’t see Notts County as rivals in the slightest.

It would be like Man Utd fans considering Oldham or Rochdale as rivals.

And let’s be honest. Notts aren’t even the 2nd most supported club in their city. Nottingham Panthers get bigger crowds than County.

So 500 neutrals who would rather sit with the Solihull fans than with the County fans.

That’ll be those Forest fans then 😆

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Regardless of who was there it's an indication of what decent marketing can do.....Great publicity for them and our League where attendances have been better than League 2 and 1 several times this year, raises the profile of the League which is good for all clubs in it.
Also if they manage to retain even just 5% of the extra attendance from first timers, old timers returning whatever then over a season it pays off.

Fair play to them, there are clubs in this league that I would begrudge getting that turnout Notts aren’t one of them.

Fiver or not nearly 13k for a National League game v Solihull is very impressive. Part-timers though -  their attendance plummeted by 8,000 for tonight's FA Cup game to 4k. 1100 to us on a Saturday was also really quite shite. I expect Chesterfield will fill the Osmond or close to.
